Help Couples Heal the Roots of Their Struggles
Many couples struggle with conflict, shame, and disconnection rooted in unaddressed trauma. As a therapist or story work facilitator, you know traditional approaches often don’t address trauma. Without trauma-informed care, couples remain stuck in painful cycles that block intimacy and healing.
What is TICT?
Trauma-informed couples therapy (TICT) is a therapeutic approach that considers the impact of past trauma on a couple’s relationship. A trauma-informed approach invites couples to discern and discover how present relational responses to hurt are connected to the past. TICT offers couples the capacity to develop an awareness of how their past trauma impacts their current relationship by providing a curious, non-judgmental approach.
A Rare Opportunity for Transformative Training
The TICT certificate training is a rare opportunity to learn directly from leading experts in couples therapy through an experiential and formational model. Over the course of three immersive in-person training weekends and six virtual consultations, participants will gain practical insight and awareness for engaging couples with a trauma-informed approach. Enrollment is limited to just 16 participants.
